CNC Milling
Multi-axis CNC milling for complex firearms components—receivers, frames, and housings—with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis capability, tight tolerances, and repeatable accuracy across every production run.
When tolerances are measured in ten-thousandths of an inch and reliability is non-negotiable, Criterion Precision Machining delivers. Since 1953, we've produced mission-critical firearms components—triggers, bolt carriers, barrels, and more—using advanced CNC milling, turning, and Swiss turning technologies. ISO 9001 certified and ITAR registered, we machine to spec the first time, every time.

End-to-end precision machining solutions for firearms components—from prototype to full-volume production with certified quality at every step.
Multi-axis CNC milling for complex firearms components—receivers, frames, and housings—with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis capability, tight tolerances, and repeatable accuracy across every production run.
High-precision CNC turning for cylindrical firearms parts such as barrels and pins, holding tolerances down to ±.0002" in titanium, stainless steel, and specialty alloys.
Swiss turning for small, intricate firearms components—pins, springs, and micro-features—with diameters as small as .010" and exceptional surface finishes on difficult materials.
Production-intent firearms component prototyping machined on the same equipment as final parts, providing real-world performance data and a seamless path to high-volume production.
Certified quality inspection using CMM, OASIS optical systems, and Keyence measurement tools to verify every firearms component meets drawing and compliance requirements before shipment.
Proven experience machining firearms-grade materials including 4140 steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and specialty alloys to exacting dimensional and surface finish standards.
Firearms demand zero tolerance for error—a standard Criterion Precision Machining has upheld since 1953. Operating from Brook Park, Ohio, and serving defense and firearms OEMs across the United States, we apply our Swiss turning, CNC turning, and 5-axis CNC milling capabilities to produce triggers, bolt carriers, barrels, housings, and complex subassemblies. ISO 9001 certified and ITAR registered, every component is inspected against drawing with our Global Advantage CMM and OASIS optical systems, so you receive parts that function flawlessly in the field.

Tanya's commitment to continuous improvement and customer partnership has positioned Criterion as a trusted supplier for defense OEMs and firearms manufacturers across the United States who require tight-tolerance components with zero margin for error. Her people-focused leadership style drives the company's culture of accountability and precision excellence.

Estimator/Project Manager
Mike Pinchot serves as Criterion's Estimator and Project Manager, bridging the gap between customer requirements and shop floor execution. With deep knowledge of precision machining processes including CNC milling, CNC turning, and Swiss turning, Mike evaluates customer drawings, develops competitive quotes, and oversees project timelines to ensure firearms component orders are delivered on schedule and to specification. His hands-on approach and attention to detail make him a critical point of contact for firearms OEMs and defense contractors seeking reliable machining partnerships. Mike ensures every project is set up for success from the moment a request for quote is received through final delivery.

Quality Manager
Kelly Marflak oversees Criterion's certified Quality Assurance program as Quality Manager, ensuring every firearms component meets drawing specifications and compliance requirements before it leaves the Brook Park, Ohio facility. Kelly manages the company's ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems, coordinates CMM inspection protocols using PC-DMIS software, and oversees the OASIS optical inspection system and Keyence measurement tools. Her rigorous approach to quality documentation—including Certificates of Conformance and final inspection reports—gives defense and firearms customers the confidence that every shipment is traceable and verified. Kelly's leadership is central to Criterion's zero-defect delivery commitment.
